People in Need together with partners continue to support communities living along the frontline in eastern Ukraine. On many places pensions, medical services and even shops with basic products are available but people live under constant shelling for months and services like electricity and water are often interrupted. To Illinivska hromada in Donetsk oblast just 15 kilometres from the frontline we delivered hygiene kits for 1,200 people, other 340 kits were distributed in the village of Zorya. The humanitarian assistance was possible thanks to the support from Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Replacement of windows before winter in Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv in northeast Ukraine. Activity done by People in Need and funded by EU humanitarian aid.
The house in Shevchenkove, 50 kilometres from Kyiv, was damaged by shelling during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. People in Need with funding from EU repaired the roof to keep homes of people warm during the winter.

Small village close to Korosten in Zhytomyr region was one of first attacked during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The house of this family was completely burned down by the missile during fighting. They have lost everything.
Team of People in Need distributed food parcels and provided psychological support to internally displaced people in collective center of Likhivka in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
