In total five colleagues were hit by a random mortar fired during the indiscriminate shelling of the southern parts of the city. Three people including the team leader died, while two others suffered minor injuries. All of them have been members of the team which has been distributing humanitarian aid to thousands of families for more than one year despite the growing difficulties.

Despite this tragic loss, PIN remains committed to delivering aid since it is needed more and more in the deepening conflict.
We have all been shaken by the death of our colleagues and friends and it is with grief and pain that we are extending our condolences to the victims’ families and relatives.
