Appeal to Azerbaijani Government - Ilgar Nasibov case

In August, Ilgar Nasibov, practically the last independent journalist based in Azerbaijan´s exclave Nakhchivan, was brutally attacked and severely beaten.Since then the Azerbaijani authorities did not permit him to seek medical assistance outside the exclave where he could get a proper treatment. In a particularly cynical twist, in late September, Nasibov was charged with assaulting one of the men who attacked him.
