Humanitarian organizations strongly condemn attacks killing and injuring civilians in several parts of Ukraine over the last hours
Published: Sep 30, 2022 Reading time: 1 minute(Kyiv, 30 September 2022): We are shocked by the images of the attack on the outskirts of Zaporizhzhia this morning. Dozens of civilians were killed or injured while queueing to bring support or reunite with their family members in areas under Russian control.
The humanitarian community in Ukraine sends our most heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and wishes those injured a speedy recovery.
No person should face what millions in Ukraine are going through now, seeing their loved ones killed, and their houses, schools, and hospitals bombed because of Russia’s war. Yet, this tragic event in Zaporizhzhia was only one example of the attacks killing and injuring civilians in several parts of Ukraine over the last hours alone.
Civilians in this country must be protected. They have suffered enough.
