Central Bohemian Region: Pre-school Clubs

Quality pre-primary education is currently an essential prerequisite for successful entry into primary school education. This applies especially for children from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds. It is these children that People in Need primarily focuses on in our pre-school club Domeček in Kladno. We intend to prepare these children for a smooth transition to ordinary nursery school. If for any reason there are any obstacles to achieving this, we work with the children to help them best manage the transition to primary school.

We believe that it is always best to use a case-by-case approach when working with children which is made possible mainly thanks to the low number of children who attend the club. We actively cooperate with the parents who we work with not only in the framework of our advisory services, but we also invite them to joint meetings and they also participate in some of the educational activities and visits to nursery schools.
