Circular Economy at PIN

PIN

At PIN, we intend circular economy firstly as a process to increase circularity of material and energy in the production and consumption, reducing waste and pollution, and regenerating nature. PIN sees Circular Economy also in a wider sense to give circularity not only to production processes and consumption, but as a way to diversify livelihoods towards green growth, give opportunities to the most vulnerable, and ensure Energy and material input Production Distribution participation of the civil society. This is why we include the concept under the sub-pillar of the Climate Resilience Pillar named “Green Jobs, Skills and Circular Economy”. The final aim is to achieve long-term sustainability through a systemic market-based approach that can promote the inclusion and resilience of vulnerable people, poverty reduction, and decent work conditions.
