In Romania, we promote cooperation between the Moldovan and Romanian non-governmental sectors.

We connect Moldovan and Romanian non-governmental and civil society organisations working with refugees from Ukraine to strengthening their expertise and the quality of their services. In addition, we support the exchange of useful experience and good practices via workshops, lectures, and study visits.

We have been working in Romania since 2000 when we began repairing roads and water infrastructure and building schools in Banat. We also focused on the support of sustainable tourism and the support of job opportunities. In 2023, we passed our operations in Banat to Hnutí DUHA Jeseníky, who will continue the work we started.

Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, we supported Ukrainian refugees arriving in Romania.
